Audit Log¶

FairBooks keeps a full audit trail of changes made across your organisation.

What's Tracked¶

Every create, update, and delete action on key records is logged:

• Invoices: Created, updated, status changes, deleted
• Expenses: Created, updated, deleted
• Customers: Created, updated, deleted
• Quotes: Created, updated, status changes, deleted
• Members: Invited, role changed, removed

Viewing the Audit Log¶

1. Navigate to Settings → Audit Log
2. Filter by entity type (e.g., Invoice, Expense, Customer)
3. Filter by action (e.g., Created, Updated, Deleted)

Each log entry shows:

• What changed: The entity type and action
• Who: The team member who made the change
• When: Timestamp of the change
