Recurring Invoices

Automate regular billing for clients you invoice on a schedule.

Setting Up a Recurring Invoice

  1. Go to Recurring Invoices in the sidebar
  2. Click New Recurring Invoice
  3. Select a Customer
  4. Add your line items
  5. Set the Frequency (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  6. Set the Start Date and optionally an End Date

FairBooks will automatically generate and send invoices on the schedule you define.

Managing Recurring Invoices

  • Pause: Temporarily stop generating invoices
  • Resume: Restart a paused schedule
  • Edit: Update line items, frequency, or customer details
  • Delete: Permanently remove the recurring invoice

Note

Invoices that have already been generated are not affected when you edit or delete a recurring invoice.
