Recurring Invoices¶
Automate regular billing for clients you invoice on a schedule.
Setting Up a Recurring Invoice¶
- Go to Recurring Invoices in the sidebar
- Click New Recurring Invoice
- Select a Customer
- Add your line items
- Set the Frequency (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Set the Start Date and optionally an End Date
FairBooks will automatically generate and send invoices on the schedule you define.
Managing Recurring Invoices¶
- Pause: Temporarily stop generating invoices
- Resume: Restart a paused schedule
- Edit: Update line items, frequency, or customer details
- Delete: Permanently remove the recurring invoice
Note
Invoices that have already been generated are not affected when you edit or delete a recurring invoice.
