Settings¶

Manage your business details, invoices, team, and account preferences from one place.

Click Settings in the sidebar to open your organisation settings. Settings is organised into tabs across the top. The tabs you see depend on your role: the Team and Billing areas are only available to owners and admins.

Business¶

Your core business details, used across invoices, quotes, and reports:

• Email for your account, with a Change email option
• Business name
• ABN, with an ABR lookup that fills in your registered details
• Business address
• I am registered for GST checkbox, which controls whether GST is calculated on your invoices and included in your BAS

Invoices¶

Customise how your invoices and quotes look and behave:

• Branding: logo, primary and accent colours, font pairing, and layout template
• Payment reminders: automatic reminders before and after the due date
• Bank details and PayID so customers know how to pay you

Payments¶

Set up online card payments so customers can pay you from their invoice:

• Stripe Connect for card payments
• A custom payment link if you take payment another way

Billing¶

Manage your FairBooks subscription (monthly or yearly) and view your billing history. Only the organisation Owner can manage billing.

Team¶

Invite people to your organisation and manage their roles. See Managing your team.

Account¶

Your personal account settings:

• Set or change your password
• Turn on two-factor authentication. See Account security
• Export your data. See Exporting your data
• Delete your account

Appearance¶

Choose a light, dark, or system theme. The system option follows your device settings.

Import Data¶

Bring your data across from Xero using a CSV export. See Importing data.

Rubbish Bin¶

Restore records you have deleted, or remove them for good. See Rubbish bin.
