Dashboard¶
Your home screen: an at-a-glance view of where your business stands right now.
The dashboard is the first thing you see when you sign in. It pulls together your invoices, bills, expenses and cash flow so you can catch what needs attention without opening each report.
Stat cards¶
Across the top are four quick figures. Select any card to jump to the matching list.
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Outstanding | Total of invoices you have sent that are still unpaid |
| Paid | Total of invoices that have been paid |
| Expenses | Total you have spent |
| Overdue | How many invoices are past their due date |
Invoices owed to you¶
Shows the total your customers still owe you, with the overdue amount called out separately. A small chart breaks the outstanding balance into aging buckets, so you can see how long invoices have been waiting. If you have draft invoices, a link at the bottom shows how many and their value.
Bills to pay¶
The mirror image for money you owe. It shows the total awaiting payment, the overdue amount and count, and an aging chart of when bills are due. Any drafts are linked at the bottom.
Net profit/loss¶
Your profit or loss for the financial year so far (from 1 July to today), with income and expenses shown side by side. A badge shows the percentage change against the same point last year, so you can tell at a glance whether you are ahead or behind.
Cash in and out¶
The money that has moved through your business over the last six months, month by month, with totals for cash in, cash out, and the net difference.
Recent invoices and expenses¶
Two lists of your latest activity: your most recent invoices (with their status and due date) and your most recent expenses. Select any row to open it, or View all to see the full list.
A quick snapshot, not a tax report¶
The dashboard is a summary
Dashboard figures are quick, GST-inclusive snapshots designed to give you the shape of things at a glance. They are not meant for lodging tax. When you need the authoritative numbers, use the BAS Reports and Profit & Loss pages, which apply cash-basis and ex-GST rules and let you choose the exact period.
