Signing In

FairBooks signs you in with a magic link by default, so there is no password to remember. A password is optional if you prefer one.

This is the default way to sign in.

  1. Go to app.fairbooks.com.au.
  2. Select Sign in with email link.
  3. Enter your email address and select Send magic link.
  4. Open the email and select the link to sign in.

The link is valid for a short time

For your security, each sign-in link works only for a limited time and can be used once. If it stops working, request a new one from the sign-in page.

On your phone

On a mobile device, the link opens in your web browser and shows an Open FairBooks button rather than jumping straight in. Select it to continue to the app.

Sign in with a password

If you set a password when you registered, enter your email and password on the sign-in page and select Sign in.

You can switch to a magic link at any time by selecting Sign in with email link, even if you have a password.

Forgot your password

If you have a password and cannot remember it:

  1. On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?.
  2. Enter your email address and select Send reset link.
  3. Open the email and follow the link to set a new password.

Two-factor codes

If you use a password and have turned on two-factor authentication, FairBooks emails you a 6-digit code after you enter your password.

  1. Enter your email and password as usual.
  2. Check your email for the 6-digit code.
  3. Enter the code and select Verify.

If the code does not arrive, select Resend code on the same screen. Two-factor codes apply to password sign-in only.
